As the foremost organization representing the field of sport psychology in Europe, the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC) is internationally known for its high quality European congresses.
Following its successful 13th FEPSAC European Sport Psychology Congress in 2011 in Madeira, FEPSAC is now announcing its 2013 FEPSAC Conference which will be hosted by the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) in Paris on the 18th and 19th of May 2013.
With its theme of the development of expertise and excellence in applied sport psychology, the 2013 FEPSAC Conference will be the first European conference fully dedicated to career development in applied sport psychology. Keynote and invited presentations from applied sport psychology as well as from elite sport will provide participants with the latest research and applied experiences on education, career development, work settings and specific populations in applied sport psychology.
This two-day conference is aimed not only at students and professionals working in applied sport psychology but also at all stakeholders in sport (e.g., athletes, coaches, professional managers, directors from elite sport federations and Olympic Committees) wanting to expand and share their experiences within the field of applied sport psychology.
While roundtables and discussion sessions will ensure interaction amongst conference participants and presenters, FEPSAC also provides for the first time in Europe a ‘meet and greet on education in sport psychology’ where experts and providers of education in sport psychology (e.g., societies, institutes of higher education, elite sport organizations, publishers) will be able to present their programs and products on sport psychology.
Conference participants will be able to submit a poster related to sport psychology and participate in a FEPSAC poster competition.
FEPSAC’s Managing Council invites also all its members for a members’ assembly during which points related to FEPSAC and its members will be presented and discussed.
Finally, conference participants will be invited for a conference diner in wonderful Paris!
While more information on this conference will be made available at http://www.fepsac.com/congresses/2013_conference/ from the 1st of January 2013, do not hesitate to mark this conference already in your agenda!
Hoping to see you in Paris,
