REGULATION

1. The aim of student scientific conference is to promote the formation of all-sided creative young sport education specialists, who has mastered not only several study courses, but has developed first scientific research skills, can summarize the sources of scientific literature, conduct research, analyze and draw conclusions, raise awareness about the relations between theory and practice. With student scientific creativity is strengthened the link between studies and research work.
2. LSPA 64rd Student Scientific Conference will be held on 05.04.2012 from 12:00 to15:00 in Conference hall of LSPA in the framework of LSPA Day of Science.
3. The title of the presentations of Student Scientific Conference with the names and surnames of the author and supervisor, as well as the abstract should be submitted (electronically) up to 02.04.2012 to the Secretary of the Steering Committee of LSPA 64rd Student Scientific Conference Krišjānis Kuplis, phone: +37126496936, e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 4. The Schedule of Student Scientific Conference:
12:00 – 13:30 presentations of the participants 
13:30 – 14:15 viewing of the poster presentations and short author presentation
14:25 – 14:45 summarizing of the results and awarding bonuses to the authors of best presentations

5. Oral and poster presentations
Oral presentation. Author presentation: up to 10 min., answers to questions: 5 min.
Scientific Committee will evaluate the presentations of the participants of the Conference according to the following criteria:

Poster presentations. Author presentation about her/his poster up to 4 min, 2 min. should be allocated for answering the questions. Scientific Committee will evaluate the posterpresentations of the participants of the Conference according to the following criteria:

6. Scientific Committees
In the Scientific Committees are included representatives of LSPA staff. Are formed two Scientific Committees, responsible for the evaluation of presentations and poster presentations.
7. Poster presentations
Poster presentations should be exhibited for viewing on 05.04.2011 till 11:30 in the lobby of the conference hall. Poster content should include topicality of the subject, the research categories, tasks and conclusions. Posters should preferably be exhibited on a big sheet of paper (width 841mm, length 1189 mm) and fixed to the paper carton. Large-scale prints of the "Word" document can be carried out in Ltd. Copy General "(Riga, Raina Boulevard 17, and phone: +37167211560).
8. Each participant of the Conference (presenters and authors of paper presentations) will receive Certificate about the participation in Student Scientific Conference.
The students, Conference presenters, coming from other higher education institutions (presenters and authors of paper presentations) will receive Certificate about the participation in Student Scientific Conference and will not participate in the competition about the bonuses of the Conference.
